I've been a great customer for about four years, never bounced a check. Recently opened upward a HELOC Or a revolving line of credit base on a 2nd mortgage. Recently I deposited a somewhat big check from another bank which understandably would result in a concord on those funds however they closed out my admission to Internet information on my business relationship and then I am operating bullheaded. As a result my app was close down as well as telephone banking/information blocked. This makes it incommunicable to continue track of which checks are getting cashed and what electric current balance is. Damnedest thing I've e'er seen. Lesser line is they do not care, go elsewhere. Don't say I did non warn y'all

I've just been with Huntington for about a year and a one-half. I had heard some horror stories from people I know, but I also knew someone who was a branch managing director at Huntington (a expert friend who has since left and went to Fifth Tertiary) that constantly talked about their new and innovative features like early pay and 24-hour Grace. So I gave them a gamble. And my friend was right, those features are very nice and very convenient. Which makes Huntington seem similar a legitimate major Banking company, at least they did at offset. I won't get into all of the ways they try to mail y'all on fees and our stingy on literally every rule when it comes to them making a cadet and y'all getting screwed. I have banked with Fifth Third and PNC in the past and both always went out of their manner to make something right for the customer. Considering that's their
Virtually a calendar month ago I had a major paycheck come in with huge commission dollars. One twenty-four hours after the check was direct deposited I wake up to notifications on my phone and in my email and I log in to the app to see shut to 20 fraudulent charges with what appears to be Chinese websites that do not exist when you lot look them up. And every accuse was between 250 and $350. Needless to say my bank business relationship was at null. I opened the fraud claim and the lady was very nice and worked with me and submitted it and I sat patiently with no coin in my bank account and waited for the provisional credit to come up in within x days.
On day 9 I got a letter of the alphabet in the mail from Huntington stating that the fraud investigation team constitute inconsistencies that pb them to believe all of the charges are legitimate. And that's it. Almost $5,000 gone on 17 charges from five dissimilar websites from China (again I'm guessing from the look of them), and they spent five or 6 days looking into it, never asked me whatsoever questions, and said there are inconsistencies so the claim is denied sorry customer. No caption, no call, no questions
So I called the fraud department and tried to go more information. I had to talk to three people, got hung up on twice, sitting on concord and information technology took hours to finally become someone to pull the investigations file upward. Even their file had no caption whatsoever, only it did point out that the customer, me, claimed that our card was stolen just they could tell that it was not considering we tried to use it again afterward the fraudulent charge. That inconsistency LEAD them to believe I was lying in my claim and information technology was an instant deprival. The problem there is that I never claimed anything well-nigh the car being stolen. It was actually even so in my wallet ten days later. I had to explicate this to three different people and finally got a supervisor that apologized to me and said I volition reopen the case for you lot nosotros're so deplorable.
At this point I'm thinking maybe Huntington is not that bad maybe they are like the other big banks. Withal, two business concern days after I call up and I'thousand told that the investigation team closed it again immediately after ane 24-hour interval. Apparently my wife had responded Yes to a text message on her phone because she didn't know if I had fabricated a purchase online... And that one response validates all 16 other charges calculation up to $4,600. The adult female explained to me that approving one transaction approves all transactions from the same merchant. I said okay that adds up to 4 of the 17 charges. There were 5 different merchants! No explanation any, but when I pressed and started getting upset she said the investigation team assumes that all 5 of the merchants were related and therefore my wife's response validates all 17 charges.
I don't know what to practise, I have pulled both of our direct deposits out, I have a negative remainder that is racking up more charges every 24-hour interval and I can't find anyone to talk to that volition be semi-reasonable about this. I'm out $v,000 considering Huntingdon doesn't want to have my back and even contact or question the merchant? Or should I say the five different merchants? Does anyone else have experience with this with any Banking company.. Tin can I hire an chaser? I am done with Huntington I have tried several avenues to become someone to help me and just take a reasonable conversation. And when I bring upwardly the absurdity of what they're saying they become upset and they put me on hold or just hang up. I am going to brand it my mission to finish whoever I can from banking with Huntington so information technology doesn't happen to anyone else.

I started my bank business relationship when it was Chemical bank. Then it switched to TCF, then Huntington. I never had whatsoever problems until Huntington took over. They overdrafted my account several times trying, so retrying, and retrying, to take payment for an order I cancelled and NEVER received. They stole a lot of money from me doing that!!!! I put overdraft protection on after that. And then after all their ridiculous fees to withdrawal my own money, I ended up negative 88 cents. They sent me an email weekly wanting their 88 cents, but didn't once tell me it would cause my account to shut. And so the IRS shows my revenue enhancement return has been deposited in to my Huntington account, merely Huntington shows they closed my account. No inkling where my money is. This banking concern is a huge thief. Stay away!!!!

Horrible! Since Huntington Bank took over TCF they accept done null but bollix small task. Task equally pocket-sized equally failure sending notifications to the online website, app, e-mail, phone call, text, or mail. Failure to accommodate customers for the mistakes made by the bank system, & or personnel. Failure to have articulate & transparent policy. Every bit I look for another bank I desire everyone to know that this is been a horrible feel with a banking concern and they should salvage themselves the inconvenience by going elsewhere with their money.

Aid me to sympathise Huntington... A business concern account got hacked and you lot say this on your site Dispute a Charge. "What?! You didn't make that purchase. We're hither to help. Telephone call us with the engagement of the accuse and its dollar corporeality. Speed up the process by having the appropriate dispute form ready." Called the number provided past their website with my mother to assist her with her hacked accounts and they tin can't freeze your account on weekends or holidays? This is the 3rd time someone has hacked into her account and they said they could non practise anything to prevent the hacker from stealing all of the funds from her linked accounts because information technology is a business account. Nosotros could not shut annihilation down online like the customer service rep said we could, could non transfer funds to keep them safety, and was told nosotros would accept to deal with this on Tuesday.
In the concurrently, the hacker is eating pizza in Florida and having a good time on my mother's accounts. We have been banking with them for years but will be moving funds to some other more than business-friendly depository financial institution that will help you lot on weekends and evenings. Business professionals beware Huntington won't help you if yous have issues with your business account until weekdays! World to Huntington, non all businesses operate only during the week!!!

If I could give no stars I would. Huntington Bank is by far the worst banking concern open. They have no automatic arrangement to conduct business, their concord times are ridiculous, they freeze and put holds on your account for no reason. They give you the runaround with mixed advice, false information and seems that training or intendance for the client is non existing. The worse thing TCF bank did was turn to Huntington bank. My account has at present been nether review for going on more than 2 months. I have submitted multiple times the same documentation, been to the co-operative over 7 times to the indicate the branch staff says they don't understand what corporate is doing. After filing consumer complaints and reaching out to Attorney general I finally got some answers but non my coin and still going through the same shameful horrible customer service nightmare. They demand to be investigated honestly by the regime.

Go anywhere else. Huntington is horrible, disorganized, and makes promises they never intend of fulfilling. I deposited a large lump sum of money with them wanting to take advantage of a new promotion for new customers. I never got the promotion afterward 4 months and when I called their customer service line; the rep was confused because she said all of the criteria was met and she requested a letter be sent out to me to indicate why I never received my coin. I never even received a alphabetic character, permit alone the bonus I was entitled to. My money earned me a whole $iv.37 in four months. Screw y'all Huntington. I happily transferred every fricken cent back to Chase.

Huntington Bank has messed upwards consistently since they bought out our old bank. They locked our debit card because of a large purchase that we Told them nigh a calendar week before-to Allow it to get through! At present I had to phone call three times to get through while my husband was waiting in the grocery store where his bill of fare was wrongly declined. We are seniors and had requested the Costless checks that this depository financial institution offers. They sent the checks finally, iii months later, and charged us virtually $18 for them! That's not Gratuitous! I had to telephone call them to get that corrected too.
I won't even become into item as to the numerous mistakes this depository financial institution made when first transferring our accounts and that they put a lock on everyone's bank accounts to transition. Nosotros've been through this transition with other banks several times who did Non lock people out from their accounts to exercise their process. I had to go into the banking concern to right the issues at that time and was told by the manager that they did not have privy to our new accounts every bit of nevertheless. What?! The managing director of the depository financial institution couldn't even help us?! Terrible service so far...We are Not happy customers in the least.

I've been cyberbanking with TCF over a decade, they were bought out by Huntington. Accounts were not transferred automatically, canceled debit/credit cards with years of validity (2025 for my card), when I called about the outcome their customer service representative suggested other banks would be pleased to take me. She was being passive aggressive on purpose, plain having not checked that my account is indeed quite large and other banks really will exist very pleased to accept me on board. They have no manner for me to actuate the new menu they issued while I'm overseas. They would non provide the carte du jour service agreement then I cannot check if they are in breach of contract, though I remember the chances are near 50:fifty.
Losing an expected line of credit while overseas can result in substantial damages that they probably should (simply might non technically... you know how ane sided EULA/banking/phone service blazon agreements are) be liable for. It did not in my case as I do bank other places as well, but this is but cool. The new debit card they issued cannot be activated without signing up for their online banking. Like many US banks they take no support for international phone numbers, leaving no way to transition my online account from TCF to their arrangement (should never have required customer interaction for this in the first place) because that phone number was unfortunately allowed to elapse.
When I am back in the US in 2-4 weeks I will be closing my business relationship with them. And to top information technology all off, their customer service wait time right is ~30-40 minutes... how much time practice they remember people have? They recollect their customers work for the bank? Oh, and they reverted my notifications to snail mail but because I didn't jump to transition my account for them. I estimate I think differently than Huntington, because if I just bought a bank, I wouldn't exist trying my hardest to lose all its customers.
